To My Loving Sister

This is the poem that was read by the Pastor during my sister's funeral wake in a funeral home in New York last December 22, 2011. I was really touched and blessed so I would like to share it here. It is really hard to lose a loved one, but God gives us assurance that we will meet again and be together for eternity.
I know God has taken her with Him in Heaven which is a far better place... there, she will have no more pains... no more sufferings... no more worries... but I still miss her sooooo much.
I am grateful to God for giving me such a loving sister. I just really wish God gave her more years on Earth but even then I do not question His will and His wisdom. He knows what is best.

When I'm Gone

by Mrs. Lyman Hancock

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile

Forget unkind words I have spoken
Remember some good I have done
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun

Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day

Then forget to grieve for my going
I would not have you sad for a day
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay

And come in the shade of evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best
